Karen, 200+ CYT, has been practicing the beautiful tradition of yoga for the past 30 years.
Initially she began practicing with the hope of retaining her strength, flexibility and
balance as she aged. She especially sought balance, both in my body and life.
Karen fell in love with this practice right from the start. The feelings of joy,
lightness and peace that overcame her were more than she anticipated. She
continued to study and practice regularly for the next 20 years when she decided it
was time to pursue her dream and become a certified yoga instructor, completing
the 200 hour program under Katy Blum from the Blue Soul Studio in 2019. She is
currently in the middle of completing her 500 hour training through “Yoga Renew”.
Her goal being to share her love of this practice with others which she has done at
“The Thriving Thistle” for the past 5 years. She also looks forward to sharing the
joy it has brought her in learning to live in the moment, while slowing down and
connecting more with one’s spiritual side.
Karen’s classes offer something for all; all levels and all bodies. Her classes will
invite you to embrace the present moment without expectations or self judgement
to help you reconnect to your body, mind and spirit. Together we will experience
the transformational power yoga can have on your life. Come find your flow!
